New Year Festival

This was the massive and enjoyble program that organized by teachers, parents and FLCF Coordinators in April. Overall more than 350 partipants were attended to the event including all the guests, techers and parents. This was held in all pre-schools, In Ratmalana education centres and in children homes. Children were dressed new colors and involved in new year festival activities. And there were variety of items to see from children’ performance. FLCF prime concerns was to engage children in cultural celebrations and to bestow cultural values. Witin the welcome speech, the program begun in all the centres. Running game, Filling the bottle, Musical chairs, thug a war, pillow fighting, sack race, breaking the pot with blind eyes, running with spoon of the lime, matching the same colored flower, duck walking, running with child seated arecanut, drinking soft drink, passing the hat were the games of event.
