Independence Day

04th of February, we celebrated 71st Independence Day in Frangipani pre-school with 162 children, 10 teachers & FLCF Coordinator under the guidance of FRIENDS LANKA Child Foundation. All the children had dressed in white national suits. The FLCF coordinator hosted the national flag and sang the national anthem. Children presented recitation of poems, delivering speech on country and each teacher introduced national symbols of national flag, flower, tree and bird in simple way. After that two pigeons that were caged gave freedom at this vibrant ceremony. Ultimately, children planted the long living plants that presented by the Bank of Ceylon, Kudawella in the preschool garden.
