Counseling program

The Counseling Program held for the parents & guardians on 20th February 2018 in “Pearl” Child Guidance Centre in Beruwala. FRIENDS Staff & teachers have organized this counseling Program. Mr. Nalinda Jayasekara (visiting counselor), who has conducted this program as the resource person. 30 number of parents and guardians have participated in this program. ‘How to think about optimistic way regarding their disabled children, what are the reasons that affected to their children?’ he was pointed out. He showed the examples of the famous persons in the world arisen within their parents encouraged and be the successful person in their real life. The significant thing is this program helped to change their attitudes and feelings about their children and how is the life when spending with their children. The counselor taught them to how to be converting their disability to ability. End of the program, parents got the strength to encourage their children. It could realize through their expression and feedback.
